  • Tip 1: Spreadsheet of Company Products with Chemical Names
    • Problem:
    • You need a spreadsheet of all your company’s products with chemical names listed.
    • Solution:
    • 1. Search by Company EPA ID to bring up a list of all products
    • 2. Move each product to the compare list by selecting the link beside each product
    • 3. From Compare Products, select Product Details
    • 4. Highlight all products and cut and paste them into an Excel spreadsheet.
  • Tip 2: Sub-registered Products
    • Problem
    • A KNOWtify customer needed to find all sub-registered products from a specific company.
    • Solution
    • Select "KNOWtify Module 2: On Demand EPA Data Searches"
    • 2. Select "Search by Company Name" and search for the company of interest
    • 3. Select the "List Products" link on the right side of the table for that specific company
    • 4. Select the link "Include Products Sub-registered from your Specified Company"
  • Tip 3: Finding Newly Registered Granular Products
    • Problem
    • Our KNOWtify customer wanted to find new customers for their granular carrier.
    • Solution
    • 1. Select "KNOWtify Module #2: On Demand EPA Data Searches"
    • 2. Select "Search by Formulation" identifying all granular products
    • 3. Sort list by EPA registration number to identify biggest opportunities by companies
    • 4. Access company names and addresses and build contact list
    • 5. Select "KNOWtify Module #1 – Set Profile for Automatic Data Notifications" to set up a notification to receive an e-mail each time a new product with granular formulation is approved at EPA
  • Tip 4: List of All Active & Inactive Products, by Company, by Date
    • Problem
    • You need a list of every active and inactive product registered by a company, sorted by date.
    • Solution
    • 1. Select "KNOWtify Module #2: On Demand EPA Data Searches"
    • 2. Select "Search by Company Name"
    • 3. Select "List Products" for the company that you want
    • 4. At the top of the page select "Display Active and Cancelled Products"
    • 5. Select to sort by the title "EPA Approval Date"
    • 6. This list will include all active and inactive registrations, sorted by date, for a specific company
  • Tip 5: Automatic Notification of New Products by Site and Pest
    • Problem
    • You want to track all new products that entered a company’s market space by site and pest.
    • Solution
    • 1. Select "KNOWtify Module #1: Set Profile for Automatic Data Notifications"
    • 2. Select "New Products" to track
    • 3. Select "Sites" to track
    • 4. Select "Pests" to track
    • 5.You will be notified each time a new product is registered for those site(s) and pest(s)
  • Tip 6: Notification of New Product Registration
    • Problem
    • You want to find out when another company receives a registration on a new product.
    • Solution
    • 1. Select "KNOWtify Module #1: Set Profile for Automatic Data Notifications"
    • 2. Select "Company Specific EPA Pesticide Registrations"
    • 3. Enter company to track
    • 4. You will be notified when the specified company receives a new registration
  • Tip 7: Product Registration by State
    • Problem
    • You want to know when one of your company’s products was registered in Georgia so distribution can begin.
    • Solution
    • 1. Select "KNOWtify Module #1: Set Profile for Automatic Data Notifications"
    • 2. Select "Product Specific State Pesticide Registrations"
    • 3. Select Georgia
    • 4. Enter product(s) EPA registration number
    • 5. Georgia data is updated monthly. A notification will be sent as soon as the data is received.
  • Tip 8: Products Registered in States
    • Problem
    • A KNOWtify customer wants to know in which states a particular company’s products are registered.
    • Solution
    • 1. Select "KNOWtify Module #1: On Demand EPA Data Searching" Select "Search by Product Name"
    • 2. Choose product(s)
    • 3. "States in which this product is registered"
    • 4. View all states where product(s) are registered
  • Tip 9: Comparing Two Products by Labels
    • Problem
    • You want to compare two products by their labeling for sites, pests, and states registered. Also, you need access to the EPA registered label and state labels.
    • Solution
    • 1. Select " KNOWtify Module #2: On Demand EPA and Data Searches"
    • 2. Select "Search by Product Name"
    • 3. Select product(s)
    • 4. View the product detail page
    • 5. At the bottom of the product detail page, select "Add to Compare List" to compare this product to another product by sites, pests, and states where products are registered.
    • 6. On the detail page, Select to "View In Commerce Label"
    • 7. Select to view "EPA Stamped Label"
    • 8. This will link to the actual label
  • Tip 10: MRIDS and a Specific Chemical Name
    • Problem
    • You need to quickly find all MRIDs submitted for a specific chemical name.
    • Solution
    • 1. Select "KNOWtify Module #2: On Demand EPA Data Searches"
    • 2. Select "Search by MRID and Chemical Name"
    • 3. Enter the name or CAS number for the chemical name
    • 4. The list will return Master Record IDs for that chemical name
    • 5. Select "Show MRIDs" to view
    • 6. Select the heading "Date" to sort MRIDs by date
    • 7. The MRID list includes all MRIDs related to requested chemical name
  • Tip 11: MRIDs Submitted by a Company in the Past Year
    • Problem
    • Our KNOWtify customer needed to quickly locate all MRIDs submitted by a specific company in the past year.
    • Solution
    • 1. Select "KNOWtify Module #2: On Demand EPA Data Searches"
    • 2. Select "Search MRID and Company Name"
    • 3. Enter company name
    • 4. Select "Show MRIDs"
    • 5. Select the heading "Date" to sort by date
    • 6. The MRID list will include all MRIDs submitted by a specified company within the last year
